Nesib CB Shamah is a Louisiana born, multiracial filmmaker living in
Seattle, Washington and was the 2019 recipient of the Seattle Mayor’s Award 
for Achievement in Film at the Seattle International Film Festival.

After moving to the Pacific Northwest, CB attended the Seattle Film Institute
and fell in love with the process of film production and development.
Post graduation, while leading the reopening of the historic Columbia City
Theater music venue, he produced live music shoots and promotional
content, the music web series DESTINATION UNKNOWN and the
Emmy-nominated documentary WELCOME TO DOE BAY. CB was a co-director
on the short film MOST STEPS EVER and part of the producing team on the
short films HASKELL, MEHNDI, SJ Chiro’s feature LANE 1974 and the feature
film adaptation of Ahamefule Oluo’s musical THIN SKIN. SOJOURN, CB's
2022 supernatural thriller, just wrapped up a successful festival run.
